FAQS ABOUT PROCESSING -
1. HOW EASY IS THE APPLICATION AND APPROVAL?
Data Link Bankcard
has a very easy process, even if you have not been approved
for a merchant account before. There are three ways to get the process
started.
- You can click on
the email button at the bottom of the page and ask us to call you or
email you back.
- You may call our
toll free number and we can help you through the process while we speak.
(We will answer all your question first.)
- The third way you
can receive an approval for a merchant account is to click on our application
button at the top of the page, fill out the short form and then submit
it to us.
Whatever process
you choose it will be only a few questions and we will do all the work
for you with a total of about 10 minutes through the approval.
By the way, there are no
charges for approval of your merchant account or any paperwork.
2.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I SUPPLY WITH THE APPLICATION?
The only documents
you will need to supply will be a voided check from your current business,
checking account and a business license. If you are a Sole Proprietor
of the business then you may use a personal checking account.
If you are already processing
then we do ask for 3 months of your current processing statements.
3. HOW LONG
IS THE APPROVAL PROCESS?
Once we have the application,
voided check and business license we will contact you in about a day
to give you your Merchant Identification Number.
4. HOW DO I KNOW
WHAT EQUIPMENT TO USE?
If you have processed
credit credit cards before then you may have a good idea what equipment
you want or even already have your own equipment. We will reprogram your
current equipment with no charge to you. If you are a merchant that needs
equipment, do not worry, you will not pay anything for any equipment
until you have been approved for a merchant account and we need to
program the equipment and send it to you.
5.
WHAT WILL BE MY TOTAL COST FOR SETUP AND EQUIPMENT?
We do not charge for any part of establishing and approving
your merchant account. The only charges you could see is for equipment,
designing web pages for Internet processing and/or software. We do have
a free equipment program if your processing is going to be high enough
on a monthly basis. If you do not process enough then we have prices for

6. HOW DO
I RECEIVE THE FUNDS I HAVE CHARGED?
This is why we ask you for a voided check to your current
checking account. On a daily basis we will deposit the funds you have
charged into your checking account automatically, or as it is officially
called, ACH the funds. ACH stands for Automated Clearing House.
7. WHAT KIND
OF SERVICE CAN I EXPECT?
One
the front end we will dilligently work to receive
an approval for your merchant account in a fast, timely manner. We will
only need to speek with you once or twice to have all the information needed
to process the application. On
the back end, if you do have a problem, we have 24-7-365 customer service.
Our policy is that we will not let the sun go down without solving the problem.
8.
DO YOU OFFER PROCESSING ON THE INTERNET?
Yes, we do offer internet processing and ecommerce.
9.
IS THE INFORMATION GIVEN TO IPAYMENT, INC. CONSIDERED PRIVATE?
We are not in the business of selling information. iPayment, Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not
rent, sell or share any information about you, or your business with
anyone, nor use any personal information for any purpose what
so ever.
10.
WILL MY BUSINESS BE ACCEPTED THROUGH YOUR MERCHANT SERVICES?
Yes, we accept
99.9% of all applications we receive. The only business that we cannot approve for an account is if there is a tax lein or a bankrupcy involved.
